Bishop says voting for pro-abortion candidate wrong

In a followup to a story I bloged here back in August, Atlanta Roman Catholic Archbishop John Donoghue issued a letter on "matters of faith and morals" in the voting booth for Catholics. In what has to be commended for clear and concise leading, the Archbishop confirms his unwavering stand on faithful responsibility, and the safe guarding of the Blessed Sacrament. Story and pastorial letter here

Also, as reported by LifeSiteNews.com, Bishop Gerald Gettelfinger of Evansville Indiana stated that he would refuse communion to politicians who publicly deny their faith on abortion or homosexuality.

Fidele Ecclesia plans to publish a list of bishops who state they would refuse communion to politicians who publicly deny their faith on abortion.

Developing.
