Add Archbishop John Donoghue of Atlanta, GA, Bishop Peter Jugis of Charlotte, NC and Bishop Robert Baker Diocese of Charleston, SC to the list of bishops who will deny communion to Catholic politicians who support a woman's right to abortion.
You’ll hear many different opinions on this, but those who oppose the bishops either do not believe the Eucharist is the real presence of Christ, don’t understand this is a Church matter and not a political one or don’t care about or are out of touch with Church teachings.
