Day three of Lent and the Love Dare

Today's dare revolves around not being selfish. I don't think I am but when you begin to examine yourself deeper we find we all have a level of selfishness built in. Putting the welfare of others before selfish motives is the only winning combination. Today I fasted again and circumstances caused me to fast beyond dinner. I worked the entire day and met Gretchen and my daughter in Tampa so I couldn't complete the dare of buying something for her. Putting their needs before mine and forgoing food the entire day (until 10:30 p.m.) felt right though.
