Archbishop Burke of St. Louis to head Vatican's supreme court

Congratulations to the Archbishop of St. Louis, Raymond Burke on his appointment by Pope Benedict XVI to head the church's highest court. Archbishop Raymond Burke will be the first American prelate as “Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signature.”

This is an excellent move for the Archbishop of St. Louis as although there were many Catholics in St. Louis and around the country that truly appreciated his strict adherence to Catholic teaching, there are many dissenters in his flock that did not. It really is sad to read some of the comments made by Catholics in and around St. Louis that apparently failed to understand this good and Holy Shepard. Our loss and the Vatican's gain!

The media seems to be a bit bias as well, but for this writer, that's to be expected.
