Archbishop Burke of St. Louis to head Vatican's supreme court

Congratulations to the Archbishop of St. Louis, Raymond Burke on his appointment by Pope Benedict XVI to head the church's highest court. Archbishop Raymond Burke will be the first American prelate as “Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signature.”
This is an excellent move for the Archbishop of St. Louis as although there were many Catholics in St. Louis and around the country that truly appreciated his strict adherence to Catholic teaching, there are many dissenters in his flock that did not. It really is sad to read some of the comments made by Catholics in and around St. Louis that apparently failed to understand this good and Holy Shepard. Our loss and the Vatican's gain!
The media seems to be a bit bias as well, but for this writer, that's to be expected.

Religious Americans: My faith isn't the only way
If every religion is right, then none are right. It really is that simple. All religions cannot be the one and only true path to salvation. The notion that Christians are arrogant or excluding to non-believers by saying that "Jesus is the only way to the Father" is ridiculous. They are merely quoting Scripture. What else are they to do, rewrite the Bible to make others feel good? How is that helpful?
It's like this; if you were in a plane crash and you all somehow made it to the ground without dying. But you were standing at the only exit, trying to communicate to the others that the exit you were standing near was the only way out of this fire ridden plane crash, wouldn't you just be trying to be helpful and lead them to salvation? What's the difference? In every situation, there is only one truth, there may be different perspectives, but there is only one truth.
"America remains a nation of believers, but a new survey finds most Americans don't feel their religion is the only way to eternal life -- even if their faith tradition teaches otherwise."
