Advice for the Catechist Please

I’m going to try a new approach here, a new dialog perhaps with my Blog.

Here goes. I taught RCIA tonight. Most of my students are about 15 years of age. They are really great kids, totally in love with Christ. Most are cradle Catholic that hasn’t made their Confirmation yet. They somehow got off track from their faith journey, probably due to their parents. I’d love nothing more tan to strike a cord with my little brothers and sister in Christ. If you could give me one bit of advice, one shred of information that would benefit these young Catholics, what would it be?

CTV.ca | Baby born to brain-dead Virginia woman dies

McLEAN, Va. — An infant born last month to a severely brain-damaged mother whose plight touched hearts around the world has died, the family said Monday.

Susan Anne Catherine Torres, born prematurely on Aug. 2 after her mother was on life support for three months, died of heart failure Sunday after emergency surgery to repair a perforated intestine, a family statement said.

Order Responds to Katrina With Largest Disaster Effort Ever

The Knights of Columbus Supreme Council has announced the largest disaster relief effort in its history. The Order has pledged a minimum of $2.5 million in financial assistance and will match any funds beyond that donated to the Knights of Columbus Katrina Relief Fund over the next 60 days.
